Authorized Vacuum Company

A family-owned vacuum sales and repair shop on East Lincolnway in Cheyenne, WY, open since 1977. Its old website was two thin pages. Today authorizedvac.com holds repairs, sales, the brands they carry and the family behind the counter, all in one place on the domain they already owned. Below is owner Keaton’s account, in his words, published with his permission.

…it is easy to send someone to it and look at the products and information. It’s also nice that everything is linking to make things easy.

How people find the shop, and where the website fits.

We asked Keaton three questions. His answers are below exactly as he submitted them.

01 · Before the new site, how were people finding the shop?

Word of mouth, google, facebook, drivingby and our old website, calling to ask about our location

02 · When you meet someone new, how do you share what your business does?

business card with a link to our website and we chat with them

03 · Since the new site went live, has anything changed?

Currently we haven’t seen a change that necessarily links to the website specifically. However, it is easy to send someone to it and look at the products and information. It’s also nice that everything is linking to make things easy.

Published as written, typos included. We didn’t edit his answers.

The shop, online, in one place.

Authorized Vacuum already had a storefront on Lincolnway, a wall of brands it is authorized to sell, and a family behind the counter. The build was designed around their own photos and their own words, not a theme.

01
Seven pages, custom designed
Home, Services, Sales, About, Contact, Privacy and Terms, replacing a two-page site. Hand-coded in the shop’s own look: cream, charcoal and brick, with sign-style headings. No template.
02
The same address on the card
Keaton shares the shop with a business card that links to the website. authorizedvac.com stayed theirs, so the website on those cards now opens the new site.
03
How a repair works, spelled out
Bring it in, free diagnostics, then approve the work before anything is done. Plus the shop’s 30-day parts and labor repair warranty, in plain language.
04
The brands they carry
An authorized-dealer board with the official marks of the brands they sell. Tap SEBO, Riccar, Simplicity, BISSELL Commercial or Hizero to see photos of those machines on their own sales floor.
05
Everything links
The phone number taps to call. The address opens Google Maps. Questions go through a form on the Contact page, their Google reviews are one tap away, and Facebook and Instagram sit in the footer.
06
The family behind the counter
Keaton runs the repairs and Lisa helps in the store. The About page tells their story and the shop’s, a Cheyenne fixture since 1977.

Live, linked, and easy to hand someone.

The new site has been live on authorizedvac.com since September 2026. Keaton rated the project five out of five.

He was also straight with us: so far he hasn’t seen a change he can tie to the website specifically, and we’re not claiming one. What he did notice is the part he uses every day. The site is easy to send someone to, the products and information are in one place, and everything links together. We’d rather publish that as he wrote it than round it up.
